Abstract

Penerjemahan teks medis–forensik Arab–Indonesia menuntut akurasi terminologis dan keterbacaan yang tinggi karena berkaitan langsung dengan keselamatan pasien dan integritas hukum. Perbedaan sistem bahasa serta keterbatasan machine translation (MT) dalam menangani istilah khusus sering memunculkan ketidakkonsistenan dan kesalahan terminologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak integrasi termbase berbantuan kecerdasan buatan terhadap kualitas penerjemahan teks medis–forensik Arab–Indonesia, dengan fokus pada akurasi terminologi, keterbacaan, dan beban post-editing. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed-methods dengan desain komparatif berbasis korpus. Data berupa teks medis dan forensik Arab diterjemahkan ke dalam tiga versi, yaitu terjemahan manual komunikatif, terjemahan MT tanpa termbase, dan terjemahan MT yang terintegrasi dengan termbase AI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi termbase menurunkan kesalahan terminologis secara signifikan dan meningkatkan konsistensi istilah lintas teks. Selain itu, penerapan metode komunikatif dan teknik mikro meningkatkan keterbacaan teks terjemahan. Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada kontribusinya dalam memperkuat praktik penerjemahan medis–forensik yang andal dan efisien, serta memberikan landasan empiris bagi pengembangan manajemen terminologi digital berbantuan AI dalam penerjemahan domain berisiko tinggi.
